Adventure to the country

I had a mini adventure today. Basically almost died. Well, not really but you get the idea. lol. So anyways, after my two classes this morning Courtney and I went to go pick up some more cases of Girl Scout cookies because her troop needed extras. The lady we had to pick them up from lives like way out in the boonies. And we already live in a smallish town so if you drive out 20 or 30 more minutes you really are out in the country. So first we go through the drivethru at Whataburger to get some amazing patty melts, or "fatty melts" as she likes to call them. haha. We start driving out of town and this lady lives at least 20 minutes away from everything in town, so we had lost cell phone service and it was way out there. We get to her house and pull into this winding dirt road and see a cute little house with a hugeeeeee front lawn. Like, it was totally epic. Looked like it could be a park. Then we drive further down and she totally had horses like, right in her yard and they were eating hay and just looked so cute, and we were totally freaking out about it. We are both such "city" people it is quite amusing. :P Then we pick up all the cookies we need and start heading back to campus. Well, we're almost back to the main drag and we see this car about to pull out from one of the side streets, and then she actually did pull out and we're just like, omg! My drink and stuff totally flew out of my hands and we like lurched forward pretty bad. Luckily we didn't collide but it was still pretty crazy.

The rest of the afternoon I just kind of hung out and watched television and starting writing my column for Monday's paper. Then we had dinner because it was chicken fried steak night. yipee. Later we're going to see Role Models and the theater, and then it's time for Your Mom to rock out!!! :P
