Too Many Haters

You know, I am so sick of people complaining about Obama and his policies. I have heard people talking about how he has already broken all the promises he made during his campaign. The man hasn't been in office for a month yet, so how on earth could he have done that?! It takes more than 3 weeks to get things done, especially with the state that our economy is in right now. Today he signed the 800 billion dollar stimulus package into law, and people are complaining about that. We're in a recession, obviously something needs to be done to fix that. Those that say we should just wait it out because it just goes in a cycle are ignorant. People are out of work and the job market is awful right now. The last eight years of Bush were awful and now someone is trying to fix things and people just won't quit complaining. Obama is actually doing things to help, unlike Bush who sat in the White House during the last few months of his term doing nothing about the bailouts in the auto industry and on Wall Street. Also, Obama announced today he is sending almost 10,000 troops to Afghanistan and all the Republicans find it amusing. It's not amusing, it is what should have been done 8 years ago after 9/11. We should have focused our efforts there in the first place instead of getting in over our heads in Iraq, but that's old news. It's going to take time to fix everything that Bush messed up, but apparantely some people just don't understand that right now. Sigh.
