Your Mom

My hands are tired.
I've been playing Guitar Hero all night.
I'm not sure why I'm blogging because my fingers hurt but I'm bored now so here we go! lol.
Today was pretty good. I have come to the conclusion that single people have more fun on Valentine's Day. Well, that is single people who don't mind being single. Like me. But then again I've never been one of those people who hates being single. Especially recently because I was in a relationship for so long. But anyways, yes, slept in until about 11, then got ready and got some brunch togo from the cafeteria and went to the library for awhile to study for Marketing. Stayed there for a few hours and then came back to my room and just watched Love Actually for a little bit while I was waiting for my roommate to get back. She called me on her way back to the dorm and was like, hey we should go out and be productive members of society tonight instead of just sit in the room. lol. So, we decided to go out. We wanted to go up to Oklahoma to the casinos because the gambling age there is only 18, but it's about a 4 hour drive from here so that wouldn't have worked out. Then we considered going to Shreveport but the gambling age there is 21 so that wouldn't have worked out. We ended up going to Lufkin which I wasn't too stoked about because I can't spend that much money and we go to Lufkin a few times a semester but it turned into a fun adventure. We went to Target but actually didn't buy anything which is a miracle. Then we decided to get some dinner, but everyplace was totally crowded of course since it was Valentine's Day. We finally decided to eat at AppleBee's because the wait wasn't too long. Had a cheeseburger, and it was nice to have "real" food instead of blah cafeteria food. Then we went to Best Buy because Courtney had gift cards left over from Christmas, and we got the new Guitar Hero Wii game and a second guitar. Then we came back and started playing. It's pretty funny because we have been talking about forming a band and calling ourselves "Your Mom" because I mean, who wouldn't want to listen to a band called Your Mom? Then you could be like, hey i'm going to see Your Mom tonight! Or, Your Mom rocked last night! haha too funny. So, we named our band on Guitar Hero Your Mom!!! Our lives are complete now. haha. But yes, all in all it was a good Valentine's Day.
