my week so far

Well it's midterms week, but thankfully I don't have any!! Just this blasted project for New Media that I'm almost finished with. I've basically been living in the Pine Log office the last couple days, but the few of us working on the project have had fun. Today i really just did not feel like going to Feature Writing. So, I slept in until almost 1 p.m. lol. Then Courtney and I went to get some lunch in the cafeteria, and I get a text message from my friend Kyle who goes to UT Tyler, and he's like, hey i'm sitting at Starbucks in the UC reading your paper! you should come by and say hi if you're free. So, after lunch I headed up there to visit with him for awhile. He's on Spring Break this week, and came down here for a few days to visit his girlfriend that goes to school here. We just talked about life and school and journalism and all that, since he's the Entertainment Editor for his college newspaper. And then I showed him our office which all visitors "oooh and awe" about it since it's all new and pretty lol. But yeah, then I spent another few hours in the office working on my project and an article and then went to an Amnesty meeting. And now I'm basically done with everything and have two more full days to get through until I go home on Friday for Spring Break! Cannot freaking wait!!!!!!
