Budweiser

So yesterday Courtney and I got a frog for the room. Its name was Budweiser. We got hot pink gravel and a cool dinosaur skull for him to play in, and we put up a picture of John Cusack as the tank background. What frog could ask for more than that? Well, apparantly Budweiser wanted to be free, because he somehow escaped from the wonderous fish tank.
I got back to the room earlier and Courtney was telling me how he liked to hide out. So I'm like, uhh I totally don't see him anywhere in the tank....so then Courtney looks down and sees Budweiser on the ground! So we freak out and scream like little girls. So then Courtney has to call her man-friend from down the hall to come rescue us from the frog and let it out into the wild (aka the garden in front of South Hall) Budweiser was a good pet for 24 hours. We will get fish next week after I get paid, because fish don't jump out of fish tanks....well with our luck they probably will.
Anyways, last night had dinner with the GKO girls at Chili's and stuffed my face with wonderous food. This morning we had a service at Millard's Crossing which is this really cute historical village north of town, and we painted fences and took pictures in the cute little old houses. Later I am going to the football game, which we actually have a shot at winning since we are decent this year. Plus we get to sit by our letters which I am pretty excited about.

I'm Hungry

You know, I hate when people expect you to do something for them but they won't do it for you at all. It's like I was home all summer and for homecoming last weekend, and now people are wondering why I am not coming home this weekend? Yeah it's just really lame, and it's like, well, what do you expect me to be like? Whatever.
Anyways, just hanging out in the office right now. Already finished with my page and just waiting for other people to finish so we can spellcheck each other's work. I'm really hungry and ready to leaveeeee. This week has been alright. Just been working on digital photography stuff. That class takes over my lifeee. I don't have hardly any work in any other classes except that one. It's fun I guess but hopefully I'll be able to get a good grade. Alright I'll finish this hoe later.

Just Bend The Pieces Til They Fit

So I need to write a new entry because I haven't seen last week, but I really don't know what to write about. I've been pretty busy but it's like I just don't feel like writing about everything. I really don't want to go to classes tomorrow. Or wake up early. Someone please please stop me if I say I am going to schedule four classes in a row again. It's just bad. At least Thursday I only have two classes because three of my teachers are going to some conference for journalism/communication stuff. And Friday I have no classes so that will be grand. We find out who our big sisters are and get our letters this weekend for GKO which should be exciting. There's a bunch of stuff to do for GKO on Friday and Saturday so I'm pretty stoked. And it's my goal for this next weekend to be able to play Guitar Hero on hard. It will happen. My next digital photography project is due on Thursday. I should probably start working on the last two pictures for that. Yeah, that would probably be smart. I have an Advertising test on Wednesday that I should probably start studying for, I just really have no motivation. Ugh. And I hate how everyone on staff at the paper never wants to write anything for the entertainment page because they're all concerned with writing hard news for their little portfolios. Which I understand because I know I was exactly the same way last semester but it's still annoying. OK, so I am listening to Dashboard Confessional right now, and I really cannot remember if I have ever seen them live?? I feel like I have and like I can remember it, but I don't think I have???? It's really weird.....Anywayssss this blog was basically pointless and just consisted of me rambling, but if you read all of this you are basically my favorite person ever. Peace out bitchesssss.

Signs

Are there really such things as "signs" or do we pick and chose our own signs in life. What are the steps we take when making a hard decision, and how do we go about choosing them? How do we know if we make the right choice? Is it a gut feeling do we really just go on "signs" we think we see or feel. Sometimes it feels like you have to make a decision that you never thought you would have to think about. Sometimes life takes us by surprise and sweeps us off our feet.

Say It Ain't So

Yeah so this weekend was pretty much one of the best ever, even though I though it would be pretty uneventful. But I was wrong. haha. The lake was fun today, perfect weather. I am feeling kind of awkward right now though....people can be really stupid sometimes. Whatever, that was kind of vague but I don't feel like spilling my guts right now. Anyways, I am not ready to go back to classes tomorrow. Only five more days til the next weekend. :)

Let's Dance

So this weekend has been pretty sweet. Friday I had no classes since my Advertising teacher is still out of town, so Stevie and I met up for lunch, and then headed to the pool for the rest of the afternoon. It was the perfect weather so that we didn't get too hot laying out, but the water wasn't too cold either. Neither of us had sun tan lotion though, so I got really really sunburned and people have been making fun of me all weekend. :P Well then we grabbed some dindin and then saw Five Times August which turned out to be a really good show. I've been playing Guitar Hero all weekend as well, and I can now play on Medium. I am very proud of myself. Well Saturday I woke up at 8 a.m. to head over to do a Habitat For Humanity service with GKO. When I thought about doing Habitat I figured we would be like painting or something, but no, we had to clear land. And it sucked. haha. Then I came back to campus and got some brunch and then headed to the office to work on an article, and ended up running into Mark there are we chatted for awhile. He told me to come out to the Psi Phi tailgating spot later, so I decided I would be school-spirited and go to the game with Allison. We met up and had some dindin and then went and said hi to the tailgaters and then went to the game until half-time. Then we went to get some foodie and played some Guitar Hero and watched Marie Antoinette and Breakfast Club. Fun times. Tomorrow I am going to a barbeque at Lake Nac with GKO and Psi Kappa Phi. It should be pretty fun, I'm excited fa sho.

Hello World.

Thank God the weekend is here. Even if it will probably be uneventful for the most part. I've really effed up my sleep schedule lately. I haven't been able to fall asleep before 3 a.m. for the last few nights. Which can be a problem when you have class at 9:30 in the a.m. I went to three classes today, and just couldn't bring myself to go to my last class at 2:00. I know I have no excuse to skip a class at 2 in the afternoon, but it's so boring and cold in there, and I just needed some time to chill out by myself.
Then I went to my Pine Log meeting, and grabbed some dindin. Then Allison and I saw Wanted, which turned out to suckkkkkk. I was freaking glad that everybody died in the end, they bugged the crap out of me. The movie was good in the beginning, but the twist was probably the stupidest thing I have ever seen in my life.
Anyways, now I'm just doing some laundry and preparing for my day at the pool tomorrow. I swear, nobody does laundry in this dorm. Everyone else I know complains because they have to do laundry at weird times in order to find a free washer. Well everytime I have done laundry this year there has been no one else in the laundry room. Weirdness....
I'm going home for the first time this semester next weekend, which should be interesting. I really don't miss "home" at all. Of course I miss my family, but I had my fill of being at home over the summer. So hopefully next weekend will be good. It will be nice to get back to the big city for a couple days. :]
